🧐 The Role
Contribute to day-to-day accounting and month-end close processes for our international group of entities.
Ensure accounting records are maintained in line with local GAAP and IFRS standards, and prepare statutory financial statements.
Maintain and improve internal controls to safeguard financial data and support external audits.
Work across our tech stack—NetSuite, procurement, and payment tools—to keep data accurate and processes efficient.
🎯 What you'll do
Own month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate preparation of financial statements in compliance with GAAP and IFRS.
Maintain and enhance internal controls across financial systems, identifying gaps and implementing improvements to strengthen controls.
Support external audits and regulatory compliance, preparing documentation and reconciliations as required.
Use data analysis and automation tools to streamline recurring accounting tasks and improve process efficiency.
Partner with teams across business control, FP&A, accounts payable, and credit control to optimise financial processes and strengthen data integrity.
Identify and investigate accounting issues, and communicate findings and recommendations to leadership.
