Introduction
This policy explains how EU AI Jobs handles personal data when you use the site. The site is run by Abas Turabli, named in the terms of service, which is responsible for it (the controller). In short: no cookies, no analytics, no tracking, no ads, no accounts. Jobs you save stay in your own browser.
Personal data we process
- The usual request data when you open a page: your IP address, your browser's details, the page and the time.
- Names or contact details of people that employers include in their job postings, such as a recruiter.
- Your email address and message, if you write to us.
How we obtain personal data
From you, directly: only when you write to us, for example to correct or remove a listing or about your data.
From third parties: job postings come from employers' public career pages, through the systems they publish them with. A posting can name a person, as the employer published it.
From your use of the site: our host processes the request data above to deliver the pages. Jobs you save are kept in your browser and never sent to us.
Our use of aggregated information
Counts and salary figures on the site, such as the number of open roles, are computed from the job listings themselves, and we may use such aggregated, anonymous figures for any purpose. They identify no one and contain no data about visitors.
Special personal data
We do not process special categories of personal data, such as health, beliefs or ethnic origin, and ask you not to send us any.
If you do not provide personal data
You never need to give us personal data to use the site: there is no account, no form and no sign-up. Only to write to us do you need an email address, so we can answer.
The bases on which we process personal data
- Request data: our legitimate interest in delivering the site and keeping it secure (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
- People named in job postings: our legitimate interest, and the job seeker's, in showing a posting as its employer published it, with a link to the original (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). You can object at any time; see Your rights.
- Your messages: answering your request (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR).
Your rights
You can ask us what personal data about you we hold, and have it corrected, deleted or restricted, object to its use, or receive it in a common format (Art. 15 to 21 GDPR). Write to info@euaijobs.com. You can also complain to a data protection supervisory authority, in particular where you live or work.
Cookies and storage in your browser
The site sets no cookies and uses no analytics or tracking, so it asks for no consent. Two things are kept in your browser's local storage, on this device only, and only when you ask for them: when you press Save on a job, its id, so you can come back to it; and when you switch between light and dark, your choice, so the site keeps it. Neither is ever sent to us. Press Save again to remove a job, or clear this site's data in your browser to remove both.
Data storage and recipients
We use service providers that process data only on our behalf and under data processing agreements:
- Hosting: a hosting provider serves the site from the European Union and keeps request data in its logs for a short time.
- Job listings: stored in a database in the European Union. It holds no data about visitors.
- Structuring listings: an AI service provider processes the text of job postings, to sort each into consistent fields.
- Your messages: kept only until the matter is settled, unless the law requires us to keep them longer.
Some of these providers may process data outside the European Union. Where they do, it is protected by the safeguards the GDPR requires, such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses. Ask us for details.
Security
The site is served over an encrypted connection, and we keep the data we handle to the minimum the site needs. Still, no transmission over the internet and no storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee the security of data sent to or from the site.
Leaving the site
Apply directly opens the employer's own posting on their site, or the system they recruit with. From there, their privacy policy applies; we are not responsible for how they handle your data.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy at any time, and do so whenever the way the site handles data changes; the date at the top says when it last changed.
