A top-ten ambition, spread across the country

Sweden's AI Strategy, published by the Government Offices in February 2026, sets the aim of being among the world's top ten nations in AI.

AI Sweden, the national center for applied artificial intelligence, has offices in Stockholm, Gothenburg, Malmö, Lund, Halmstad, Växjö, Linköping and Luleå. Lovable lists Stockholm among its offices, beside San Francisco, London and Boston.

An EU Blue Card without a degree

With an EU or EEA passport, you have a right of residence and need no permit to work. Others most often come on the EU Blue Card, which needs SEK 53,625 a month for a job of at least six months, and either a higher education of 180 credits or five years of relevant professional experience, so a degree is not required.
