What you’ll work on
Put your technical foundations to work on the infrastructure solutions that keeps Graphcore’s engineering teams connected, productive and secure. As a Graduate IS Engineer, you’ll support infrastructure operations, investigate technical issues and contribute to projects that improve reliability, performance and security. Your work will span servers, storage, networking, cloud platforms, automation and monitoring. You’ll learn how these systems support AI engineering at scale, building practical experience with Linux, Windows, scripting and infrastructure as code. It’s a chance to see how the technology behind an engineering organisation works and help make it better.
How you’ll learn and grow
During the two-year programme, you’ll build infrastructure skills by working on real operational issues and improvement projects. Investigating technical issues will help you develop a methodical approach to problem solving and understand how servers, storage, networks and cloud services fit together. Work on scripting, automation and infrastructure as code will give you practical ways to improve how infrastructure is managed. Working alongside experienced engineers will help you weigh up reliability, performance and security, explain your approach and understand how infrastructure decisions affect the teams who depend on these services.
