Requirements
You'll be great for this role if…
- Senior tax experience across corporate income tax, transfer pricing, and indirect tax in a multinational, combining strategic leadership with hands-on technical delivery. You're comfortable working through the detail yourself, from modelling and documentation to reviewing returns, and you don't need to hand every technical question to an adviser.
- A track record of building in-house tax expertise, with a preference for developing capability internally and using external advisers selectively, for specialist opinions and peer review rather than day-to-day analysis.
- Proven track record developing senior tax team members, including people leadership, prioritisation, and performance development.
- Strong knowledge of European corporate income tax, transfer pricing, and cross-border structuring, along with Pillar Two, CbCR, and EU Directives.
- Experience leading tax audits and controversies, including extensive direct engagement with tax authorities.
- Ability to translate complex regulatory and commercial issues into clear tax positions, communicated confidently to non-tax stakeholders such as finance leadership and auditors.
