Senior Product Experience Designer, Developer Experience

Join us in redefining the DevX (developer experience) at Adyen. As a Product Experiencer, you will work closely with PMs and Engineers to build Adyen's developer platform, which is how thousands of merchants integrate, configure, and scale their payments and financial products with us—and the quality of that integration experience directly shapes how fast and confidently our merchants grow. As our customers increasingly use AI-powered development tools, and as autonomous AI agents emerge as a new class of integrator, we are evolving this platform for an AI-native world. Our DevX organization drives this evolution across the modern developer ecosystem—from secure identity and access, API excellence, and real-time events, to next-generation documentation, integration observability, plugins, and agentic workflows. Together, we build the seamless, self-service developer frameworks that eliminate integration friction and empower the next generation of global builders.

What you’ll do

In this role, you will own the end-to-end user experience across Adyen’s developer platform. Your day-to-day responsibilities include:

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Delivery

• Partner daily with Product, Engineering, and Data Analytics teams to shape tactical roadmaps and long-term product strategy.
• Define design requirements, wireframes, high-fidelity prototypes, and design specs to ensure smooth handoff and implementation with engineering.
• Measure and optimize developer adoption and integration velocity through user metrics, feedback loops, and usability testing.

Total rewards & compensation

The annual base salary range for this role is $201,600 - $302,400. Compensation is based on factors including qualifications, experience, and location. Total compensation package includes equity (RSUs), 401(k), health, dental, vision, and more.
