Your Role

You make every new fonio teammate feel at home from day one. You own the journey from signed offer to fully ramped, and help international colleagues relocate across countries, from Spain and Austria to the UK, the US, Poland and beyond.

  • Onboarding experience: Build the fonio way of joining: pre-boarding, day one, first 90 days. Welcome kits, buddies, team playbooks. Automate it so it scales with our hiring.

  • Go-to person: Act as the primary point of contact for every new joiner. Answer fast, solve issues, and run onboarding sessions on our tools and ways of working.

  • Stakeholder Management: Become the sparring partner with Department Leads in order to build engaging and interactive sessions. Make it fun!

  • Ready on day one: Align with People Ops, IT and hiring managers so access, equipment and paperwork are complete before day one.

  • Progress & accuracy: Monitor every onboarding, track completion and follow up on open items. Keep documentation, employee records and system access accurate and up to date.

  • Compliance: Make sure every onboarding and relocation meets internal policies, data protection (GDPR) and local labor and immigration rules.

  • Relocation & global mobility: Run international relocations end-to-end in every country we hire in: visas and work permits, residence and local registrations, Social Security enrollment, bank accounts, housing. Build country playbooks and manage relocation and immigration partners.

  • Expat taxation: Guide new joiners on tax residency, double taxation, social security coordination and local expat tax regimes, together with external advisors.

  • Feedback loop: Spot bottlenecks. Measure how new joiners feel and how fast they ramp. Keep improving.
