About the Role
We’re hiring our first Partner Manager to help build Dust’s US partner ecosystem from the ground up. You’ll work across our tech and solution partners, and you’ll own one charter outright: building our private equity ecosystem.
This is a hands-on commercial role. You’ll recruit and activate partners, build joint go-to-market plans, and work with Sales to turn partner relationships into pipeline and revenue. Alongside that, you’ll design and prove how Dust works with PE firms, operating partners, and their portfolio companies, and you’ll write the playbook future hires will run.
You’ll report to the Head of US Partnerships and work closely with Sales, Marketing, and Solutions Engineering. We’re looking for someone who enjoys building from zero and measures success by the business they help create.
What You’ll Own
Build and activate tech and solution partnerships
Identify and recruit tech and solution partners with relevant customer relationships and a clear reason to work with Dust.
Develop joint value propositions and practical go-to-market plans with each partner.
Run day-to-day execution of your partner relationships, from first outreach and activation through qualified pipeline and revenue.
Work with partners and Sales to map shared accounts, secure introductions, and advance opportunities.
Build repeatable co-sell and activation motions instead of one-off introductions.
Lead our private equity charter
Build relationships with PE firms, operating partners, value creation teams, and portfolio company leaders.
Identify portfolio companies where Dust can deliver meaningful value, and turn those relationships into qualified opportunities.
Engage the consultancies and technology partners that serve PE firms and their portfolios.
Design and test how Dust works with PE, from operating partner referrals to portfolio-wide programs, and document the motion that works.
Own the PE playbook that future partnership hires, in the US and beyond, will run.
Shape the broader ecosystem
Test new partner types and go-to-market approaches, and use the results to decide where to invest.
Help the Head of US Partnerships prioritize opportunities and develop the US ecosystem strategy.
What Success Looks Like in Year One
A repeatable co-sell motion running with a core set of solution and tech partners, and Sales using it consistently.
Partner-sourced and partner-influenced pipeline that contributes meaningfully to Dust’s US growth.
Two to three PE firms actively engaged, with at least one portfolio-wide pilot underway.
A documented PE playbook that shows which motion works and is ready for the team to scale.
A clear view of which ecosystems deserve further investment, backed by results.
Requirements
What We’re Looking For
Must-haves
Partner-led GTM experience: You’ve generated pipeline through partners and know how partnerships create customer access and support a sales team.
Builder track record: You’ve launched a partner program, business development motion, or go-to-market play from zero, without an existing playbook.
Commercial instinct: You turn relationships into opportunities and opportunities into revenue.
Senior relationship skills: You build trust with executives and move conversations toward clear outcomes.
Cross-functional execution: You work well with Sales, Marketing, and technical teams to get deals done.
Strong preferences
Private equity experience: You’ve worked with PE firms, operating partners, or portfolio companies, ideally generating business through those relationships.
AI fluency: You follow how AI is changing the way businesses operate and can explain its practical value.
We care more about your ability to build a commercially productive ecosystem than whether your past title matches this one.
