Key Responsibilities
Technical win in complex deals: Partner with Account Executives on mid-market and enterprise opportunities, leading discovery, technical qualification and solution design to secure the technical win, according to the pipeline and targets in your market. While the Account Executive owns the customer relationship, forecast and commercial negotiation, the Solution Architect is responsible for the solution design, technical consultancy and ecosystem integration needs analysis and solutions.
Solution design & tailored demos: Map the customer's recruitment process and current tech stack, and design how Teamtailor solves their specific needs. Run tailored, value-focused demos and workshops for talent acquisition, HR, IT and procurement stakeholder together with the AE
Integrations & ecosystem: Act as the go-to expert on Teamtailor's API, Marketplace partners and integrations (e.g. HRIS, SSO, job boards, assessments). Scope non-standard requirements and propose creative but realistic solutions.
Security, privacy & RFPs: Work with the Proposal team on RFPs and tenders as the technical expert, contributing to compelling bids and supporting security and data privacy questions (including GDPR) together with Legal and Security. The Proposal team owns the bid process; the Solutions Architect contributes to the technical solution.
Clean handover to onboarding: Document pre-sales findings, agreed solutions and integration scope, and hand over to the onboarding team so customers get what was promised. Ownership of implementation sits with onboarding, not this role.
Voice of the customer: Feed structured customer and market insights back to Product, including gaps, feature requests and competitive input, based on what you see in deals.
Scalable assets & enablement: Build reusable demo environments, solution blueprints and reference architectures, and help train Account Executives so they can handle standard technical questions on their own.
Requirements
We are looking for someone with
Strong technical understanding of B2B SaaS, including APIs, integrations, SSO and data flows, and the ability to explain them in simple, business-friendly language.
Excellent discovery and consultative skills: you can uncover the real problem behind a request and connect it to business value. Able to break down complex or unclear requirements and find practical workarounds within the product’s capabilities.
Strong commercial mindset: a deep understanding of the customer's needs, and the ability to present solutions with the confidence of a great salesperson, but backed by deeper expertise and credibility, so customers see you as a trusted advisor rather than a seller.
Outstanding presentation and demo skills, comfortable in front of senior and technical stakeholders.
Comfortable in complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles and in a team-selling setup with Account Executives.
Assertive communicator who sets clear, realistic expectations and is comfortable challenging customers and colleagues when needed.
Structured and organised, able to run several deals in parallel and document clearly.
Fluency in English and French, written and spoken.
