The Role
Every Celonis outcome starts with data. As a Solutions Architect, you make sure our customers’ data gets into the Celonis Platform reliably, securely, and at scale, and that insights and actions flow back out into the systems and AI tools where work actually happens.
You’ll join our customer programs team as one of the first technical faces of Celonis. You’ll work hands-on across the full integration toolkit: deploying our out-of-the-box extractors, building custom API connectors in a low-code environment, writing code for push-based ingestion, connecting Celonis to customer lakehouses and LLMs, and configuring writebacks, SSO, and user provisioning. Part implementation consultant, part integration engineer, part trusted technical advisor, this role is ideal for someone early in their career who wants broad exposure to enterprise architecture and modern data and AI integration patterns.
Customer and team impact
- Scope with confidence. Run technical discovery, document integration architectures and requirements, and estimate effort so projects start on solid footing.
- Be the voice of the field. Escalate product gaps and bugs with clear, reproducible detail, and share field feedback that shapes our integration roadmap.
- Build reusable assets. Contribute reusable connector templates, scripts, runbooks, and best-practice documentation that scale across customers and partners.
Requirements
What You’ll Bring
- 2–5 years of experience in a technical, customer-facing role such as solutions engineering, integration or implementation consulting, data engineering, or technical consulting.
- Hands-on experience with REST APIs and common authentication patterns (OAuth 2.0, API keys, tokens); comfort using tools like Postman to explore and test APIs.
- Solid programming skills in Python (or a similar language) and strong SQL skills.
- Working knowledge of data pipelines and ETL/ELT concepts, including incremental loads, scheduling, and handling large data volumes.
- Familiarity with identity and access management concepts such as SSO (SAML/OIDC) and SCIM provisioning.
- A basic understanding of networking and security fundamentals (TLS and certificates, proxies, firewalls, VPNs).
- The ability to explain technical topics clearly to both engineers and business stakeholders, and to manage your own workstreams across multiple customer projects.
- Curiosity, ownership, and a bias toward solving problems hands-on.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Nice to have
- Experience with SAP data structures, tables, or extraction (for example, RFC, ODP, or S/4HANA).
- Experience with at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, GCP) and/or lakehouse platforms such as Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, or Snowflake.
- Exposure to iPaaS or low-code integration tools (for example, MuleSoft, Boomi, Workato, or Power Automate).
- Familiarity with LLMs, AI agents, or MCP.
- Experience with Docker or Linux server administration.
- Relevant certifications (for example, Celonis, cloud, or SAP certifications).
Visa sponsorship is not offered for this role.
